We are looking for an experienced procurement practitioner to support our team with hands-on experience in Procurement & Payables optimisation with the focus to increase the month-end balance sheet position as well as avoiding intra-month cash bleed. The role will be supported with data analytics and project support activities by 2 junior to mid-level consultants from our team which need to be utilised to leverage the practitioners experience in every day work.The overall project is a large engagement involving several other workstreams, so coordination within the team is paramount. End client is a major global industrial player with strong manufacturing base in Australia.

The organisation is undergoing a business-wide transformation program to improve operating processes, win new business, and enhance competitiveness. The existing transformation program has several work streams with an effective governance structure setup modelled on a top management consulting firm’s framework and approach. Support is needed to help build the current team’s execution capability from an experienced program manager who is familiar with the challenges of manufacturing operations management – in this case one selling packaging products into the FMCG, Beverage, and Fast Food sectors.
