What Unispace Needed
Unispace, a global strategic design practice specialising in the development and implementation of innovative workplace environments, was in need of an interim CFO. The company has experienced rapid growth both within Australia and internationally over the past two years and as a result Unispace has been required to build up their executive team.
Alongside traditional CFO duties, the interim CFO was required to work with an advisor on a strategic operational review.
The interim CFO was required to work onsite, two days per week with some international travel required.
Solution

Jon is an experienced CFO having been the CFO and an Australian regional director at Lloyds International. Prior to his time at Lloyds, Jon was a Divisional Director at Macquarie Group, reporting to the CFO.
Jon is quick to understand businesses or projects, build strong relationships and lead corporate businesses. His background made him an ideal fit for Unispace as an interim CFO, who could provide deep executive leadership experience and help the business navigate its international expansion and rapid growth. Furthermore, Jon is highly experienced in working with blue-chip businesses, which form a large part of Unispace’s customer base.
He was able to quickly integrate himself into the Unispace team and help the company through a major growth period. After four months as interim CFO, Unispace’s Global CEO offered Jon a permanent position as the group’s Global CFO.
